Once the decision has been made, you may choose the setting that feels most comfortable for you and your pet. While we do not perform at-home euthanasia, we can connect you with trusted, compassionate providers who specialize in in-home services.

 ​Peaceful Passing at Our Hospital:
​Our goal is to provide a calm, supportive environment for both you and your pet. We offer a quiet, comfortable room with soft bedding where you can spend time together. When weather allows, you may also choose an outdoor setting in our peaceful backyard. Our team will gently guide you through each step of the process, ensuring your pet’s comfort and dignity at all times. We will also review consent forms and your aftercare preferences beforehand, so you can focus on being present with your pet.

Aftercare Options:
We understand that aftercare decisions can be difficult, and we are here to help guide you through your options. You may choose to bring your pet home for burial if appropriate. We can provide a burial bag or assist with preparation if you have a casket.
We also partner with Abbey Glen Pet Memorial Services, a trusted cremation provider offering a range of options:

• Private (individual) cremation, with ashes returned in an urn of your choice
• ​Communal cremation, where ashes are respectfully cared for and not returned

Abbey Glen also offers a variety of memorial products, including urns, keepsake jewelry, and custom paw print items.

​Memorial Keepsakes:
We offer complimentary keepsakes to help you honor and remember your pet, including:

• Ink nose or paw prints
• ​Fur clippings in a keepsake vial or bag​

Additional keepsakes may be requested for family members. These small mementos can provide comfort and help preserve the memory of your beloved companion.
