Financing Options: Cherry Vs CareCredit
We offer two third-party financing options to help make veterinary care more manageable:
Cherry
CareCredit
Both options allow you to split payments over time, but terms, interest rates, and approval requirements will vary. We encourage you to review each option to determine what works best for your financial situation. We suggest applying for Cherry first as your credit score will not be impacted by doing so. Cherry
- A flexible payment option with quick approval decisions
- Approval and total is good for 60 days from time of application
- Often offers smaller, more manageable monthly payment plans
- No interest for 6 months for totals over $200; longer payment plans available with interest
- Designed to be accessible for a wider range of credit profiles
- Uses a soft credit check; will not affect your credit score
- Requires an initial payment at time of services
CareCredit
- A healthcare credit card specifically for medical and veterinary expenses
- Can be used at human medical locations if needed in the future
- Can be used for multiple transactions as long as credit available
- Offers promotional financing options (such as deferred interest if paid within 6 month period for totals over $200)
- Will charge deferred interest if not paid within that promotional period for full total initially charged.
- Requires a credit application and approval
- Uses a hard credit check that will impact credit score.
- First payment is due upon monthly billing date

Pet Insurance
If you have pet insurance, please note how it works:
Trupanion's direct pay will be a service we provide in the future.
- Payment is due in full at the time of your visit
- You will then submit a claim directly to your insurance provider
- Your insurance company may request medical records, which we are happy to provide
- Reimbursement is sent directly to you by your insurance provider
