Marissa, Practice Manager
Marissa spent her childhood years moving around to various states and settled in York, PA when she was 14. She started working at a local large and small animal veterinary clinic as a kennel technician when she was 15. Her strong passion for animals continued her path with the veterinary field after graduating high school. She worked at a small animal clinic for 6 years before moving to Williamsport for her husband's work. March 2016 they moved back to York and bought an old farmhouse. During her time of working in the veterinary field she volunteered at her local fire company and attended classes to eventually become a Nationally registered EMT. She has continued her path in the veterinary field and enjoys animal behavior and dentistry. Marissa joined our team in March 2017. Since joining our team she has filled the role of Lead Veterinary Technician and now Practice Manager.
She has a Dutch Shepherd named Maverick , a Belgian Malinois named BrynnLeigh, fish tanks, and a son. During her free time she is likely out with her family camping, hiking, and reading. She also spends a lot of time training her dogs and going to dock diving competitions and other dog sports.
